I believe that fitness is not just about what happens in the gym, it’s about reclaiming control, building resilience, discipline and unlocking the best version of yourself.

Over the past six years, I’ve coached a wide spectrum of people, youth athletes, parents, professionals, older adults, coaches & attended countless seminars with the best coaches in the world to make sure our coaching is a step ahead of the game producing the best possible results and incredible supportive community.

My core work is with men and women in their 30s to 60s who’ve lost themselves somewhere along the way.

Whether it’s the weight of career demands, the responsibilities of raising a family or simply never having put themselves first, my role is to help them take responsibility for where they are, and take action to move forward.

At OURA, we stand for high personal standards. To us, that means showing up for yourself, holding yourself accountable (we’ll help with that) supporting others and choosing to build the strongest, healthiest version of you, not just for you, but for the people around you who matter most. We meet members exactly where they’re at.

There’s no ego, no cookie-cutter programming, and no letting anyone slip through the cracks here, Instead, we create an environment that is both supportive and challenging, where every detail of the coaching experience is thought through and executed with purpose.

What sets OURA apart is the passion of our team. Coaching here isn’t just about delivering workouts, it’s about crafting an experience that motivates, educates, and empowers every member who walks through our doors.

We care deeply about the details: the way we program, the accountability systems we use, the environment we create. It all comes together to make OURA more than a gym, it’s a place where people change the way they see themselves.

Outside the gym, I stay grounded through the things I love, long hikes in nature, looking after my three miniature dachshunds Harlo Albie & Jelly and playing football with my team weekly.

These small parts of my life remind me that fitness should add to who you are, not consume it.

Tierna

Hi, I'm Tierna, founder of Oura Training.

A qualified personal trainer with over five years of training experience.

Alongside my career as a veterinary surgeon, I bring a strong medical background and a deep understanding of how vital both exercise and nutrition are for long-term health.

My passion lies in helping women unlock their strength and confidence, both in and out of the gym. Having experienced firsthand the impact that training has had on my own mental health, self-esteem, and overall wellbeing, I’m deeply committed to creating the same safe, supportive space for others.

I have a natural drive to support and uplift women, helping them feel strong, confident, and empowered. At the same time, I’m equally dedicated to welcoming everyone who walks through Oura’s doors, no matter their age, gender, or experience level.

My approach is rooted in encouragement, inclusivity, and community, building an environment where people can push past limits and grow together.

A big part of my vision is centred on the family approach to training and lifestyle change. Creating Oura alongside my partner, Tyler, has shown me how powerful it is when partners and families commit to the journey together, developing new habits, supporting each other, and celebrating progress side by side.

I truly believe this not only makes the process more rewarding, but also helps build a foundation for healthier future generations. When parents learn about training and nutrition, they can pass those lessons on to their children from a young age.

For me, Oura is a reflection of my own journey, a space where others can discover the same strength, balance, and self-belief that training has given me 🤍

Joining OURA has been life changing. I’d been stuck in the same gym routine, getting nowhere, but the atmosphere here made training something I actually look forward to. The coaches genuinely care, always there with support, encouragement, and advice. Every session pushed me further, and I’ve loved seeing what I’m capable of. In 90 days I’ve lost 20lbs. Built real confidence in the gym, and even achieved my first banded chin up something I never thought I could do. As well as being the strongest I’ve ever been! OURA gave me the structure, mindset, and belief to keep progressing. If you’re thinking about it, just do it, the results and the experience speak for themselves.
